The College was established in 2015 by the tvet Act and is one of the six colleges of the in baringo county,, It is a tvet college that was established mainly to offer courses in agriculture both animal and crop production,,,the innitive to start a college was to train farmers and produce special to aid in solving food crisis in the region and also makes use of perkerrra irrigation scheme where learner's get enough exposure to field practice
